When I was a child, I suffered several times a year from tonsillitis to strep throat! My mother would buy a six pack of Vernors. It was a ritual! My mother only bought Vernors when someone in the family was sick. I would love the flavor, body and I would imagine it some where aging in kegs for I think it was 50 or 80 yrs! Now, I found it again here in Florida! It does't have the heavier richer taste as it once had. Only a faint hint of Vernors Ginger Ale! Probably because it isn't aged in those wooden kegs! lol! When I ache for the good old days, I'll buy it, just to stroll down memory lane! I also loved Birch Beer, can't get it down here! Also the REAL pickled sausages in the gallon jars and Blind Robins! (smoked dried fish) I am 62 now, grew up in the 50's and 60's in the Tonawanda's NY!
I moved to Alaska back in 76 I grew up in Michigan and really missed my Vernors. Every time I would go back to visit the family i had to have it. Living in Fairbanks I can find it at Safeway but only by the mixed drinks supplies. Every time I go in there I buy them out of the few 12 packs they carry.
where can I buy vernors in milwaukee
I am born and bred Michigan farm girl growing up outside of Bay City, then Clarkston, and now living in Massachusetts. I love love love the original Vernors. So please go back to original recipe, not using the high fructose corn syrup...it makes it taste different. I am ordering from you as soon as our snow stops here in the East so we can have our gingerale floats and summer drinks, maybe even some chips to go with. Thank you. Your customers know best and we are you loyal fans, so please hear us. Thank you.
The U.S. Army colonel in charge of a post in Germany had Vernors Ginger Ale shipped into the commissary because he missed it and Michigan so much! I was never so glad!
Where can you find Vernor's in Orange County CA
Does anyone know where to buy 2 liter bottles of Vernors in Albuquerque?
I agree with the comment on high fructose corn syrup. Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, please return to making Vernors with sugar instead. Did you ever think the day would come we'd search for products with sugar?
No Vernors Here in Jackson, MI ... just wondering why?
Where can I find Diet Vernor's in the Williamsburg, Va area? All our stores say they can't get it in.
My Dad worked next door to the Vernors plant in Detroitin the 1950's. He would come home with cases of 'seconds' (?) but they tasted fine to us...
Where can I buy Vernors in New Bern, North Carolina
I live in little Niwot Colorado and was thrilled to find Vernors at our local market which is creatively named Niwot Market.
I just want to thank you guys for having such a great beverage (vernors) My wife and I were born and raised outside of detroit MI. I have been stationed in nj with the Marine corps. When I was deployed to Afghanistan I had a care package shipped out with vernors in it. Also my wife and I had twin girls back in aug of 2014 and during her pregnancy all she craved was vernors. Everytime one of our families is out here in NJ to visit they know to bring stock piles of vernors. I just wanted to say again thank you for a great product and had to give ya'll a pat on the back!!
In Southern Pines/Aberdeen, North Carolina, you can find Vernors in at the Harris-Teeter grocery store
I'm so sorry to read you're using High fructose corn syrup now. You lost another customer. Why not make it in Canada where sugar is less expensive?
I also am looking for Vernor's. I left a website a little while ago that I believe was Sodamaker's or possibly Sodafinder's. However, I do believe it has to be shipped to you which would most likely be pricey.
I love Vernors. Loved the old recipe from when I was a kid in the 70's. Would love it even more if it didn't have the HFCS now in the recipe. Cane sugar is a healthier choice and the cost difference would be nominal. Everything old is in style again. Why not Vernors too.
I live in Wilmington NC and I can't find Vernors Ginger ale anyplace around here. I can't stand other brands can you please find some place around here to carry it (in the bottles not cans the tin taste eventually comes out when in cans).
When living in Detroit as a child, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Vernors Bottling process on Woodward Avenue. (I too, miss the Vernors Bottling Plant and Bob-Lo Island!) I would love to order cases of Vernors, but I will NOT drink any product with High Fructose Corn Syrup, or other artificial, harmful ingredients. Pepsi made a marketing decision. Won't you PLEASE follow their lead and do the right thing? Also, all American soda pop that is sold in England, Germany, etc. must be free of the HFC, etc. and must only have pure cane sugar! Thank you in advance, for making the change! I'll bet your $ale$ increase!!! Gina K.
